Policies & Procedures

🍴Delivery Policy: Refund/Credit requests must be made within 2 hours of delivery. We cook our food fresh to order with only the finest and freshest ingredients. We take great care and pride in all of the dishes we make. Refunds and/or replacement food are available upon request for orders in which the food is wrong, omitted, and other similar circumstances*. Refunds are not typically provided for food that a guest simply does not like.
We cannot cancel, refund, or give store credit if you change your mind or mistakenly order an item after the order is prepared. We cannot provide any refund or store credit for non-food items or beverages.
*   If 25% or more of the food has been consumed or removed, we cannot issue any discount, refund or store credit. If the food has been discarded, repackaged, or tampered with then we cannot verify its origin or issue and cannot issue any discount, refund, or store credit. Staff will return to your location to pick up the meal. Also, we will only prepare a second food order in all situations, and we will not prepare a third order replacement.
We scheduled our drivers with a bit of room to spare, unfortunately unforeseen events may occur to prevent us from reaching you on time. Late orders upon request will be credited delivery fee only.

It has always been and always will be our policy to facilitate the needs and request of our clients, however with the increase in order requests we believe these policies are both fair and beneficial to all our customers.
Special Orders – A Special order would be an item that must either be shopped or ordered from a vendor specifically for your order.  Since this would entail us either sending an employee out to purchase this item or arranging for a vendor to make a special delivery of this item; we require a twelve-hour cancellation period.   Any cancellation after this period would require us to bill you for the item in full.
Recipes – While we welcome any recipes that a client may wish for us to make, we must also shop and spend a considerable amount of time making these items that are new for our kitchen staff.

We understand that privacy online is important to users of our Site, especially when conducting business. This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site (“Visitors”) who visit without transacting business and Visitors who register to transact business on the Site and make use of the various services offered by Chef Alejandra PLPeek Company (collectively, “Services”) (“Authorized Customers”). “Personally Identifiable Information” refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, financial profiles, social security number, and credit card information. Personally Identifiable Information does not include information that is collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.

🍴Hours: Catering is available any time. Additional fees may apply for evening and weekend events. 

🍴Placing an order: All catering orders must be placed at least 7 working days in advance. Working days are Tuesday-Sunday.  Catering orders can be submitted online, email or by phone. 

🍴Orders: To confirm your event you have to pay 50% in advance, this is used as a guarantee. 

🍴Guaranteed attendance: Your catering invoice is a business agreement. Our Catering agrees to serve your guests and do everything possible to ensure your event is successful. In turn, you agree to guarantee the number of guests to be served. A guaranteed attendance must be submitted no later than 5 working days in advance. This number will be considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction.

🍴Cancellations: All cancellations must be made at least 7 working days in advance. If the cancellation is made 7 working days in advance, you will be billed 50% of the invoice total. If the cancellation is made 6 days working days in advance, or on the day of the event, the full amount of the invoice will be billed.

🍴Catering staff will confirm the equipment provided at every event. Any lost or damaged equipment will result in additional charges.

🍴Leftovers: All leftover food remains with our company, and will be removed by the event staff 2 hours after the event start time.

🍴Alcohol policy: The service of beer and wine  function must be administered by our Catering staff and comply with all of our alcohol policies. 

🍴Equipment and supplies: we don’t loan equipment. Equipment may not be removed from any catered event. All catered events come complete with the necessary supplies and equipment.  

🍴Corkage fee: If you wish to provide your own wine at an event, there is a $6.00 per bottle corkage fee. All prices are subject to change. Due to seasonality, certain items may not be available.

🍴Substitutions: Substitutions to the catering menu are not allowed.

🍴Policy changes: Policies are subject to change without notice, but will NOT affect existing bookings that have been confirmed. 

🍴Acceptable forms of payment: Catering invoices may be billed within a week after the event. We accept on line payments, checks under the name : Alejandra PL Peek, Venmo, ( https://venmo.com/code?user_id=2443699875217408379 ) Zelle (6789060974) and PayPal (alepeek)

🍴Catering staff:  our Catering staff will set-up your catering order, and return to clean-up. Staff will remain at the event to assist in serving any hot buffet meals.

Service also includes:

🍴High quality plastic ware & napkins. Appropriate serving pieces, equipment and linens for food tables.

Additional fees:

🍴The current sales tax rate is 7%

🍴A 25% service charge will be added for decoration, service & delivery
